Mother’s Day Gift Guide

Treat the woman who taught you to love tea to more tea and tea goodies! A tea loving mom (or anyone) would appreciate new mugs, teapots, and more tea! What’s even more convenient is that we just got some new arrivals at our store! Check it out below!

Addison Pink and Gold Tea for OneMade by Seattle based company Pinky Up, this pink and gold tea for one tea set is just right for any mom who loves a pot of tea every once in a while. The tea for one set includes a teapot, a cup that stacks underneath the teapot, and a saucer. Enjoy a 12 ounce pot of tea with your 8 ounce saucer! If you don’t like pink, we also carry blue and gold and a floral design.

Riley Glass Tea Press Pot Much similar to a French press but for tea! This glass teapot (also by Pinky Up) holds up to 34 ounces of tea and comes with a filter and press. To top it off, the lid is in a currently popular color, Rose Gold!

Royal Doulton Ceramic Travel MugThe Royal Doulton name may be familiar to some from a hit British TV show but you’d be happy to know that they make travel mugs! This travel mug can hold both hot or iced tea thanks to its double walled ceramic material.

Tea of the Month Subscriptions Gift your mom a Tea of the Month Subscription! Two teas to try, either loose leaf or tea bags, would come each month for a low price! It can be billed monthly or yearly but I would suggest a yearly subscription for Mom.

I have loved good tea my whole life, I literally had it in my baby bottle and has been a part of my life since. Recently I lived for a short time in a region of the United States that would go to great lengths to cover a pitcher of brewed tea if it was going to stand any length of time, like overnight or even an afternoon in the conference room. I’ve never rushed to cover my tea pitcher and wondered if anyone might know the reason. Thanks.

  2. Greetings!!
For Mother’s Day this year my husband gifted me a very old pre-1931 Brown Betty (it does not have a locking lid) with a lovely red and yellow floral pattern on it. I am very pleased with it! However, whenever fresh hot water is poured from it, it gives the water a slight brown tint to it. Might you have any thoughts on what may be causing this? The spout does have some crazing, but nothing too terrible. Thank you!
