National Hot Tea Month

Cup of hot tea on a winter day

Happy New Year! Welcome to January—and welcome to National Hot Tea Month!

This is the perfect time to celebrate everything hot tea has to offer. With winter settling in for many of us, there’s no better excuse to brew more tea and stay warm.

Looking for ways to celebrate? Here are a few ideas:

New Year’s Resolution: With resolutions in full swing, why not commit to drinking more tea? Try replacing your morning coffee with a cup of tea and see how you feel. Not ready to give up coffee completely? No problem—just add a cup of tea to your daily routine, perhaps in the afternoon.

New Year, New Tea: This is a great time to explore new flavors. If you usually stick to black tea, consider branching out.

You never know what you might discover until you try!

Cut Out the Caffeine: If you’re looking to reduce caffeine, tea offers plenty of options.

  • rooibos tea
is naturally caffeine-free, slightly sweet, and perfect after dinner

  • herbal teas
are great for winding down before bed

Herbal options like

chamomile tea
are especially popular for relaxation.

One favorite is

Twinings Winter Spice herbal tea
, an apple-infused chamomile blend with warming spices like cinnamon, cardamom, and clove.

Do you have a favorite hot tea? Or are you more of an iced tea person?

If you try any of these ideas this month, let us know how it goes!

Happy Hot Tea Month!

  1. I was more of a coffee person but I have decided to now shift my focus to tea, and that was kind of a resolution that I am trying to keep. 🙂 I started having green tea after a friend gifted me a Halmari green tea with lemon and I have noticed a considerable change in my health in the past 1 month. So that’s why I am just carrying forward this as a resolution. But yes, thanks this was a nice read. 🙂
