Teas to Kick Off the Holiday Season!

Thanksgiving is all about being thankful for family, friends, and of course, food. Some of my favorite memories of Thanksgiving involved cooking with my family. My older sister would start the turkey off while my mom would prepare side dishes of mashed potatoes, stuffing, and we would spend the day watching the Thanksgiving Day parade along with many other holiday specials on TV.

So, while you’re waiting for the turkey to cook and for guests to arrive, heat up the kettle and pour yourself a nice cup of warm, holiday goodness. Can’t decide what to have? Check out some of these teas to add to your holiday traditions:

English Tea Store Holiday Spiced Tea – An aromatic way to kick off the holiday season! Our Holiday Spiced tea is an invigorating blend of medium black tea, orange, clove, and cinnamon. Enjoy hot so you can get the warm, inviting feeling of the season right in your cup.

Twinings Pumpkin Spice Chai Tea – With Pumpkin Spice season in the midst, this chai tea is a must. Twinings Pumpkin Spice Chai is a pumpkin flavored black tea loaded with aromatic spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cardamom, cloves, and allspice. Add a little milk and sugar to your cup and it will be like dessert in your cup! Not a fan of pumpkin? Try Twinings Spiced Apple Chai, with notes of sweet apple!

Stash Orange Spiced Black Tea – For a full bodied black tea with the comforts of Autumn in your cup, try Stash’s Orange Spiced Black Tea. Blended from teas grown in India, China, and Sri Lanka, you’ll enjoy this sweet combination of orange flavor and spices.

English Tea Store’s Mercedes Apple Spice Tea – For our decaf and fruit tea lovers, try this crisp and sweet tea from English Tea Store. The notes of juicy apple and cinnamon will pull you right in! Best of all, it’s caffeine free so you can drink it even after the Thanksgiving leftovers are put away.

Harney and Sons Hot Cinnamon Spiced Tea – When it says Hot Cinnamon Spice, Harney and Sons means it! This black tea mixture details three different kinds of cinnamon along with cloves and orange peel, ensuring a spicy and sweet taste (along with smell). This tea is one of the most popular of our Fall teas, so it may be a hit for your Thanksgiving.

Enjoy all of these with a piece of pie!
